reality just gave me a punch on the face!
went for a routine walk in my neighborhood a few moments back like i always do.
and i began to think if whether this place of mine is safe?
foreigners drinking, a foreign couple by the corner, group of foreigners taking a nap at the playground.its becoming obvious that this neighborhood of mine is becoming quite unsafe.
this brings me back to an experience a few days back where me shariff and shameer were talking in the bus on how the foreigners are taking up our places here in the society and workforce.that surely gave me a scare.
it has become a norm for an 18 year old to be thinking about world happenings and the future even at a young and tender age when they are supposed to be studying and enjoying life.
in the meeting room we were shocked when almost 60% of the people there were foreigners doing their degree here in singapore! by judging on the way they talked.they had no hopes of leaving singapore but wanting to fit into the society itself.
is there any future for us or do we have to work extra hard to compete with them?
Are we feeling alienated on our own soil that we call home?
Think!

reunion after 5 months!

its been 5 months or so since me and my band jammed together.

and its kind of bittersweet to see the people that ive known for years change.

nazri-rambut amy winehouse(beehive)

muzap-rambut startrek.

irfan-rambut emo.

mark-rambut tak mandi.

first we went to the mamak coffee shop skipping "the prata shop" for that place as it was a chill laidback place for us to relaxs but to our surprise it was being replaced by some stupid motherf*cking restraunt instead of the usual stinking, humid mamak shop that we spend alot of memorable times after jamming!

momories came rushing back like it happend yesterday.im really gonna miss that place.

those were the days gone by.memories never fade as your watching all your days gone by.

then we had to walk all the way back to "the prata shop"which was supposedly reccomended by the new paper for its superb prata.we ate and chat there for a good 1 hour and i think that we were the most loudest bunch there.

overall i give "the prata shop"5 stars for its plain unaromatic briyani rice, great atmoshere, fast service, "clean"utensils and the "lembut"waiter.

and finally we started jamming only at 9pm at the usual olando jamming studio.quite shocked as the people there still remember us after 5 months.the uncle there even called me by my name.this proves that olando really remember its customers.

jamming was a blast even though we were not serious.in the end we only managed to cover come together by the beatles almost perfectly.

we danced all around the room like idiots after 1.5 hours of jamming like it were a disco and even did a boyband kinda medly with just vocals and piano which was hilarious.

totally enjoyed myself.been a long time since ive laughed so hard.after almost 6 months of working and not having time for some fun i finally got some.ive to say this "i miss secondary school days!"
